Urban Upbound 18th Anniversary Gala

Urban Upbound's 18th Anniversary Gala was held on October 19, 2022 at Sony Hall in Time Square. More than 250 guest came to celebrate the success of the Urban Upbound team, including Honoree, Mayor Eric Adams and performers Eric B and Doug E. Fresh. We successfully raised nearly a half a million dollars to support programming. 

As the lead event director, I coordinated all event logistics, including marketing, fundraising efforts, entertainment, catering, logistics and overseeing 100+ staff members. 

The Media Summit is a day-long event that welcomes media professionals to SUNY Oswego campus for engaging conversations about timely and important topics facing media industries and media consumers. The summits are headlined by a panel discussion featuring top names from various areas of media, but the day also offers small-group discussions where students can listen to and ask questions of visiting luminaries. 

I served as Event Director for this student-run event, leading a team of 15 executive board members and coordinating a full day of activities.
